Customer needed a set of steps for her cat to access a window. Even though she tried amazon and the local pet stores but there was nothing high enough for the window. Existing steps designs are for low windows or areas. The customer’s window is higher than normal and required a custom design.
She contacted me and after some thought and SketchUp, I came up with this design. These steps are 46″ in height, 16 inches wide, and are 30″ deep.
The customer removed one of the steps and rearranged the remaining steps. Also the bottom and top steps were made larger so that the cat would have somewhere to lay and survey her kingdom. Then the customer painted the frame and covered the steps with pieces of a yoga mat.
According to the customer, the cat loves it and even brags about it to all her feline friends. The neighborhood cats are now jealous and even the dogs feel that they should have one.
