In September 2023, Brenda and I attended the GACE 2023 Fall Conference in Augusta, Georgia. I maintain the website for GACE and try to attend their conference occasionally as funds and health permits.
Some of the meals are provided by the conference. Brenda and I chose to sit at the same table each meal. Another couple was also there at every meal. Naturally, we struck up a conversation and quickly became friends. The couple’s names are Rance and Helen Davis.
Brenda and Helen spent many an hour chatting and becoming friends. I had taken some of my boards to the conference to donate as door prizes and also to maybe sell a few. I told Brenda to pick out one of the boards and give it to Helen.
