Well, it’s getting close to Christmas again and it is time for more Christmas trees. I was showing a friend of mine pictures of the trees I built several years ago for Christmas presents. She wanted one so, I told her that I would build one especially for her. Well, one led into the many.
The trees are built using 1″ x 4″ SPF lumber. The trees were built using plans from Ana White – Woodworking Projects. All parts were glued with TiteBond III and stapled using 1 1/2″ brad nails. I used a variety of paints and stains.
Here is a list of the various colors I used:
1. MinWax PolyShades: Espresso
2. MinWax PolyShades: Antique Walnut
3. Varathane Stain+Poly: Traditional Cherry
4. pectro Chalk Paint: Olive Green
5. Shabby Chic: Olivaceous
Some were built as wall hanging and the others were free-standing units.
