New Public Housing for the Bluebirds

I decided to replace my old bluebird houses with new public housing that I had built back in the 90s. They were getting a bit old and outdated, and the bluebirds had started calling me a slum lord. So, I took off to my neighborhood Lowes and purchased some 1x6x8 pine boards. These boards are untreated. I was able to build one house with each board. The boxes were ventilated on the bottom and the front swings down to easily clean the boxes after nesting each year.

Now the bluebirds are complaining about the rent going up. I can't win for losing.

I did give one of these bluebird houses to my physical therapist, Andrew Lloyd. Andrew in the therapist at Results Physiotherapy in Clayton, North Carolina.

I enjoy watching the bluebirds as they flit back and forth. Here are some pictures of took of my bluebirds.
